On 10–12 September 2025, NEUROCLIMA participated in the 4th Annual International Behavioural Public Policy Conference (IBBPA) at King’s College London (Strand Campus).
NEUROCLIMA’s team, comprising Artur Bogucki (CEPS, Brussels), Beatrice Gobbo (Politecnico di Milano), Stefanos Alevizos (IASIS, Athens), and Pierre Rossel (Inspiring Futures, Spain) presented NEUROCLIMA’s work on an AI-based nervous system for climate policy decision-making.
The presentation shared how the project explores behavioural change assumptions, tools, and approaches in two large-scale case studies. The session created space for open discussion, allowing us to receive valuable feedback from experts and participants on how NEUROCLIMA can further refine its methods and strengthen its policy relevance.
NEUROCLIMA’s approach aims to connect policymakers, public institutions, and citizens in a meaningful two-way exchange. By listening to concerns, monitoring emerging trends, and integrating policy proposals, the project works towards supporting systemic transformations and behavioural change for climate resilience.
The feedback gathered in London will directly inform the project’s next steps, including the development of monitoring mechanisms aligned with the EU Adaptation Strategy and the Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change. This will help ensure that NEUROCLIMA’s tools are both scientifically rigorous and practically useful for European societies.
Through this dialogue, the project is building stronger links with the behavioural policy community, reinforcing its commitment to evidence-based, participatory, and trustworthy climate solutions.
