The 29th of October 2025, researchers from Infinitivity Design Labs (IDL) presented the NEUROCLIMA project, its overall approach, and emerging findings from Task 3.4 and Task 5.3, at an international event organized by the EU-funded BeGlobal project, hosted by the University Côte d’Azur in Nice, France. The session brought together approximately 30 participants, including university lecturers and researchers from France, Spain, Chile, and Finland.

The presentation introduced NEUROCLIMA’s integrated strategy for applying advanced machine learning and neural network techniques to climate research, with a particular focus on improving predictive capabilities and supporting climate-related decision-making. IDL highlighted key developments from Task 3.4, providing an engagement strategy for playful learning experiences that encompasses best practices, methodologies, and concrete activities for facilitating climate-focused learning experiences and Task 5.3, NEUROCLIMA Play, a blended and hybrid digital interactive storytelling services and interfaces, aiming at informing, educating and shaping citizens’ opinion around green transition and the EU Adaptation Strategy.

The NEUROCLIMA approach was very well received, sparking dynamic discussions on the potential of AI-driven tools for climate analysis. Participants expressed highly positive feedback, noting the project’s strong methodological foundations, clarity of objectives, and promising early results. The event also provided a valuable opportunity to strengthen collaboration between EU-funded initiatives working at the intersection of data science and climate research.
