About
this pilot

This pilot, taking place in Italy, is part of the NEUROCLIMA project and aims to test how the NEUROCLIMA platform can support climate change education and behavior change across diverse educational settings. The pilot involves teachers and learners from multiple education levels and contributes to evaluating the usability, effectiveness, and impact of the platform.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) supported climate knowledge tools

Digital, analog, and hybrid teaching and engaging formats

Climate change adaptation and behavior-change learning pathways

How this pilot is going to work

TRAINING PHASE

  • Teachers will take part in two online training sessions on the NEUROCLIMA project and platform.
  • Two online training sessions Duration: 2 hours each
  • Led by POLIMI

DESIGN PHASE

  • Teachers design lessons and activities using the NeuroClima Hub
  • Materials are uploaded to the NeuroClima Learn platform
  • Teachers can adapt the tools freely to their teaching context

IMPLEMENTATION PHASE

  • Activities take place between April and June 2026
  • Duration and format are flexible and decided by each teacher
  • Activities can be digital, analog, or hybrid
Surveys and data collection

To evaluate the pilot, teachers (UC 1) and youthworkers (UC 2) will be asked to fill two anonymous online questionnaires to their students or citizens: one at the beginning and one at the end of the learning activities. The questionnaires are going to assess:

  • Knowledge related to climate change topics
  • Usability of the NEUROCLIMA system
  • Willingness to adopt more sustainable behaviours
Data privacy

Questionnaires are anonymous

No sensitive personal data, including special categories of personal data under the GDPR, is collected

Teachers and youth workers will only share aggregated demographic data

The purpose is solely to evaluate the pilot’s impact and inclusivity

Each local partner is responsible for the collected data

Why join?

Climate change education and awareness is increasingly essential, yet many educators feel they lack the tools or confidence to address it effectively. NEUROCLIMA supports teachers and youthworkers by providing accessible, reliable resources and by connecting individual efforts into a larger European learning community, where contributions are visible, shared, and valued.

Support provided

Ongoing support from the NEUROCLIMA Working Group

Guidance during activity design

Space for peer exchange via the platform

Access to high quality, curated scientific information
