Pilot 1 - Ireland
Neuroclima is an EU-funded project delivered in Ireland by Future In Perspective (FIP). The aim of this pilot is to evaluate how the project’s AI monitoring tools can help policymakers, journalists, and content creators identify public trends and concerns, improve policy communication, and shape more informed climate‑related decisions. By bringing these groups together, the pilot will strengthen how climate and social policy information is understood and shared in Ireland, while also contributing to trans‑European co‑policy creation through collaboration with Belgium.
Specific information about participants:
- Journalists and Content Creators: Journalists at national and regional level, content creators such as NGO social media managers, informational and educational content creators, and other relevant stakeholders
- Policy makers: Policy makers elected to the three municipal councils across county Cavan, regional authorities and local government agencies.
The pilot will bring together media professionals, digital content creators, journalists and policy experts working across Ireland’s climate and social policy sectors to test the effectiveness and reliability of Neuroclima’s Solution in decision making, identifying public trends and concerns, and pinpointing social tipping points relevant to the national context.
The pilot will explore how climate and policy information can be accessed and communicated clearly and effectively with the aim of strengthening public engagement.
Launch and Engagement:
The pilot will begin with stakeholder outreach outlining the project and the potential benefits of the Neuroclima Solution in addressing Cavan’s Climate Action Plan 2024 – 2029 ambitions and other relevant regional climate policies.
Workshop and Deliberation Collaboration:
Following the Belgium foresight workshop in June, Irish policy- and decision-makers will engage in a collaborative deliberation workshop showcasing the use of the deliberate platform for policy proposal, review and communication. The workshop will also allow for a live demonstration of the use of the Neuroclima Lens and Bot, through questions and prompts relevant to local context.
Most specifically this pilot phase will focus on ‘The future of our food’ and the national strategic goal 5 ‘Sustainability/Resource Management’ where its major focus is on supporting farmers and food producers in the region to adopt more sustainable, low‑carbon and climate‑resilient practices through tools, training, guidance, partnerships and market development.
Online seminars for Journalists and Content Creators
In parallel, FIP will host a series of mini‑seminars delivered online for journalists and content creators centred on the use of the NC Lens and Bot for climate‑related content development promoting evidence-based and reliable climate narratives.
It is expected that participants will support the project through participation in the Neuroclima workshops, where evaluation logs and questionnaires will be completed.

Data collected includes:
- Climate knowledge and awareness
- User experience and platform usability
- Assessment of behavioral change towards climate action

- Data used exclusively for evaluation and iclusivity asssesment
