Citizens, Students & Educators

Measuring the impact of IA monitoring tools

This pilot explores how educational, informational, and creative tools can help citizens and students understand climate change and get involved in adaptation efforts. The pilot tests both structured learning resources (think workshops, modules, and toolkits) and participatory activities that encourage creative expression around climate challenges. By combining education with hands-on engagement, this pilot aims to increase climate literacy, inspire public involvement, and support behavioral and systemic change in response to climate challenges. Participants will gain practical knowledge, experiment with new tools, and contribute to meaningful community action.

Use Case 2.1: Implementing behavioural and systemic change through blended learning tools, participatory design and interactive storytelling

This use case explores how innovative educational approaches can inspire both behavioral and systemic change in climate adaptation. Using blended learning, interactive storytelling, and participatory design, participants learn about climate change and sustainability in hands-on, engaging ways. By combining game-based learning, creative activities, and hybrid learning environments, the pilot aims to identify the moments and methods that most effectively encourage action and foster climate-resilient behaviors.

Use Case 2.2: Participatory design and creative expression as the driving force for the implementation of climate change adaptation

This use case explores how creative activities such as writing, filmmaking, and performing arts can boost citizen engagement and participation in climate adaptation. By using creative expression as a communication tool, the pilot tests workshops that encourage students and citizens to explore, reflect on, and respond to climate challenges. Through these hands-on activities, participants can better understand new initiatives in the green transition, consider their societal impacts, and become more invested in shaping meaningful climate action.
